Preventin is a ready-to-use, water-based antibacterial wood preservative. When applied to bare wood surfaces, it penetrates between 1 mm and 2 mm depending on the type of wood (hardwood or softwood), cleaning the wood sap from bacteria and preventing bacterial growth. Due to its antibacterial properties, it prevents woodworms and insects that feed on wood sap from damaging the wood. It dries in 24 hours under normal weather conditions (above +8°C). It is colorless and does not alter the natural characteristics of the wood.
