Paint Varnish and Coatings
THE MOST SUITABLE IN ITS CLASS It is the most suitable water-based varnish in its class. The performance in terms of application and quality is very high. In terms of odor, it is not as strong as solvent-based varnishes. |
THE MOST PRACTICAL WATER-BASED VARNISH Compared to other solvent-based varnish products, being water-based extends the life of the wood. It protects against external factors. |
DOES NOT REQUIRE SPECIALIZATION It is designed for easy application by anyone. The person applying it does not need to be familiar with the subject or have expertise. It can be easily applied directly to the surface with a brush or roller. |
BREATHABILITY Being water-based, it has the ability to allow the wood to breathe. This helps extend the wood's life and maintain its durability, especially on wood surfaces. |

A versatile, fast-drying, water-based acrylic-alkyd satin varnish. It adheres perfectly to many surfaces. Izogin varnish has been subjected to UV resistance testing in TÜRKAK accredited test laboratories, and the test results show that no blistering, peeling, or cracking occurred. Being water-based, it penetrates deeply into wood surfaces, providing surface protection. Due to its water-based nature, it allows wood to breathe and prevents fungal growth and decay. It is not affected by weather. It is washable and wipeable. It is resistant to impacts that would not penetrate the wood. Being water-based, it does not release harmful odors in closed environments.
New wood surfaces: Smooth planed wood surfaces are colored with water-based pigments. If used in its natural state, this step is unnecessary. If the wood surface needs protection against bacteria, Izogin Preventin should be used. Izogin Preventin is colored and applied with a brush or roller. If the wood needs to be protected from ignition or flammability, Izogin Fermo should be used. If Izogin Fermo is used, there is no need for Izogin Preventin. After protection and optional coloring, the wood surface should be left to dry for 24 hours. After drying, a coat of Izogin varnish (primer coat) is applied with a brush or roller. After 12 hours, the first coat of Izogin varnish is applied.
CONSUMPTION Depending on the type of wood (hardness and softness), primer coat consumption is 100 gr/m² to 120 gr/m², and for the second coat, it is 80 to 100 gr/m². |
